DDK is a three piece southern rock band that aspires to carry the torch of the classic power trio. With influences ranging from black sabbath to dumstaphunk, the band explores a multitude of genres from blues, soul & reggae to punk, metal and progressive rock.
Formed in 2010 by vocalist/guitarist BG (Brian Graham - Live Oak, Wax Groove Revival) and drummer Brooks DuBose (Ten Mile Tide, Gaslight Street) the band quickly took to the studio to record their EP - DDK. Rounding out the lineup on bass is Charleston legend John F Kennedy (The Other People, Wax Groove Revival). The band plays locally in Charleston and throughout the southeast. They have performed with numerous national acts: Porter Batiste/Stoltz, Drivin' and Cryin', Dash Rip-Rock and Bloodkin. They recently shared the stage with the Revivalists at Lafayette Square in New Orleans for Wednesdays on the Square. A prelude to Jazzfest. .
